Job Title: Field Officer

Job Summary :
The Field Officer (FO) plays a key frontline role in implementing ANKITA India's worker-centric initiatives across communities, industries, and migrant clusters. The FO is responsible for mobilising workers, conducting awareness programs, facilitating access to social security schemes, and supporting workers in resolving workplace grievances. This role involves close coordination with labour authorities, employers, community leaders, and internal project teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
? Build rapport with the district/block level authorities and other local community-based organizations/groups and sensitize them about their role in safe migration.
? Regularly find cases from the field related to forced labor and inform the center facilitator and district coordinator.
? Regularly follow up on the forced labor-related cases assigned by the center facilitator.
? Collect information from migrant workers who have complained via helpline/center or field staff to support fact-finding in worker protection cases.
? Collect evidence in worker protection cases assigned and maintain complex and soft copies of the same at the center.
? Maintain the case file on the tech platform and physical files maintained at the migration resource center.
? Work with the lawyer on cases with support from Centre Facilitator.
? Work and regularly inform the worker on the progress of the case.
? Coordinate with destination teams on cases involving destination districts.
? Weekly manage all the files and data related to the case and update the required tech application/dashboard.
? Share challenges and issues regularly with the Project Coordinator.
? Support in training barefoot lawyers, migrant workers, and a larger community on aspects related to worker protection.
? Work as per the values of ANKITA and the objectives of MRC.

Education: Any graduate
Experience: 2-3 years

Job Summary
The Project Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting project activities in line with organizational goals and donor requirements. The role involves field coordination, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and implement project activities as per approved work plan.
• Supervise field staff and ensure timely execution of activities.
• Conduct community meetings, trainings, and awareness programs.
• Maintain project documentation, records, and reports.
• Monitor progress against targets and indicators.
• Collect and analyze field data for reporting and evaluation.
• Liaise with government departments, partners, and stakeholders.
• Support proposal development and donor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and donor guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Willingness to travel for fieldwork.
