The Data Lead will build and manage the data systems at SWaCH to strengthen service-level monitoring, operational efficiency across the organization. The position is critical for creating systems that can report verified, real-time operational intelligence, supporting better planning, accountability, and continuous improvement in service delivery. The Data Lead will help establish clear data governance frameworks, performance monitoring systems, and analytical tools that allow the leadership and various teams to track efficiency, identify gaps, and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data System Design
? Develop and maintain SWaCH’s overall data architecture from field collection to reporting and dashboards.
? Integrate datasets related to membership, working status, properties coverage, payments, etc.
? Ensure data systems are simple and accessible for field teams but robust enough for analysis and decision-making.
2. Survey & Enumeration Framework
? Establish protocols for accurate field data collection including GIS.
? Build processes for periodic updates and audits of various databases.
3. Dashboard & Reporting
? Create and manage dashboards for for various service-level tracking
? Produce periodic analytical reports to support planning, decision-making & compliance.
4. Data Governance & Maintenance
? Establish data standards, documentation, and validation processes.
? Ensure data quality through audits, cleaning protocols, and verification mechanisms.
? Develop systems for secure storage, access control, and responsible use of data.
5. Field Data Systems & Trainings
? Design and deploy practical tools for field data capture (mobile surveys, verification workflows, etc.).
? Train and support field staff and coordinators in using data systems effectively.
? Work closely with operations teams to ensure data collection aligns with real operational workflows.
