Finance Officer

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in line with organisational accounting standards.
• Process payments, receipts, and journal entries in the accounting system (e.g., Tally ERP).
• Manage bank transactions, prepare bank reconciliation statements, and monitor account balances.
• Maintain petty cash and ensure timely cash and bank reconciliation.
Prepare quarterly variance statements
• Prepare donor-specific financial reports in the required formats and timelines and get it checked by the Finance Manager/Project Coordinator before submission.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions to ensure audit readiness.
• Ensure procurement and expenditure processes comply with organisational policies.
• Maintain well-organised financial files (physical and electronic) for easy retrieval.
• Provide handholding support to the Project Accountant so that work efficiency increases.

Qualifications:
• B.Com or M.Com
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP9) and MS Office suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the organization's mission and values.
