Position: Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer (NRM)

Base Location: Chhattisgarh

Job Description: NRM Expert/Agri. Expert

a. Role and Responsibilities:
1.Implementation of development programs in project areas covering the thematic areas of NRM, water, energy etc.
2.Training & capacity building of field team, farmers.
3.Liaison with district / block level departments / administration.
4.Involves regular travel within the posted district for facilitation, review, monitoring, training etc. and occasional travel within & outside the state.
5.Ensuring quality in execution of field works.

b. Qualifications, skills, experience, competencies :
1.B. Tech. in Civil / B. Tech. Agriculture / BSc. NRM & Watershed / Soil & Water Conservation / Or any other similar background (Post graduation maybe preferred but not mandatory).
2.1– 3 years of experience (freshers with strong academic record may be considered).
3.Knowledge of relevant technology / field-level advisory.
4.Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to train field staff/farmers.
5.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6.Willingness to travel extensively to field locations.
7.Proactive approach to work, good follow-up and follow-through.
8.Open to learn, assimilate and adopt new and emerging developments.
9.Teamwork and coordination with cross-functional departments.
10.Ability to work in rural/agri-business environment.
11.Commitment to quality, compliance, and farmer-centric approach.

c.Remuneration
1.CTC : 35,000-50,000 per month, commensurate with qualification and experience.

d.Additional information

1.Posting location shall be Chhattisgarh
2.Work area will cover travel across the States of Chhattisgarh/Odisha as part of visits to the projects.
