In 1982, Dr. Dwarkadasji Lohiya laid the foundation of Marathwada Navnirman
Lokayat (MANAVLOK), a voluntary organisation, working for the socioeconomic
upliftment of the rural poor in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra State in India.
The organisation is working in the sectors of Watershed, Agriculture, Disaster Relief
Services, Gender Equality, Elder and Disabled care, as an approach to integrated
rural development.

MANAVLOK is seeking a committed and result-oriented Project Coordinator to lead
the planning, implementation, and monitoring of field-level development initiatives
for the Soil and Water Resource Management Program in Buldhana District. The role
requires strong leadership, coordination, and community & stakeholder
engagement skills to ensure effective execution of project activities in rural areas.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supervising field teams, coordinating
with stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting, and maintaining quality standards in
project implementation. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about
grassroots development and willing to work closely with rural communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management
? Leading planning, implementation, and monitoring of field-level development
initiatives
? Ensure compliance with project guidelines and Organizational Policies.
? Team management, maintain external communication/ donor
communication.
? Effective decision making and risk management.
? Ensuring accountability and Budget management
? Assist in planning watershed development activities such as check dams,
Contour trenches, and Water harvesting structures.
? Prepare project schedules and work plans.

Field Coordination
? Coordinate with field teams, engineers, and community members.
? Monitor the progress of watershed works in villages.
? Supervise field staff and ensure timely and quality implementation.
? Coordinate with Government departments and Partner Agencies for
convergence.

Community Engagement
? Work with farmers, village committees, and self-help groups.
? Conduct awareness meetings about soil and water conservation.
? Mobilize and engage community institutions, Farmer groups, SHGs, and
Stakeholders.

Monitoring & Reporting
? Maintain records of activities, budgets, outcomes, and Support Financial
project Activity.
? Prepare reports for donors or government departments.

Technical Support
? Prepare progress reports, documentation, and donor reports.
? Support implementation of watershed techniques like: Rainwater harvesting,
Soil conservation, Afforestation, and Drainage line treatment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:
? Graduate/Postgraduate in Rural Development, Social Work, Agriculture,
Development Studies, Watershed Management, Water Resource
Management, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, or
related field.

Experience:
? Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in rural development or the NGO
sector.
? Experience in Managing donor-funded projects preferred.
? Willingness to travel extensively and work in rural areas.

Skills & Competencies:
? Knowledge of watershed Management and Rural development
? Project Management and Team Management Skills.
? Commitment to social impact and grassroots development
? Strong leadership and Team management skills
? Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
? Communication with rural communities and community mobilization abilities
? Mandatory Language Proficiency: Fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English
(speaking, writing, typing).

Compensation & Benefits:
? Salary Range: ?60,000 - ?65,000 per month, depending on skills and
experience, with an annual increment of approximately 5% based on
performance and organizational policies.
