Position Summary
Back to Village is seeking a motivated and organized Human Resources (HR) Officer who will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, and supporting the overall HR operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will play an important role in ensuring effective HR management and supporting the organization's mission-driven work environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, and coordination of interviews.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
• Manage staff attendance, leave records, and HR data.
• Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staff training and capacity-building activities.
• Maintain HR data and records in MIS systems.
• Support payroll coordination with the accounts team.
• Handle PF (Provident Fund) and ESIC related processes, where applicable.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of HR processes, recruitment, and administrative procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and HR/MIS systems.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or administration, preferably in the NGO or development sector, will be an advantage.
