Position Summary
Back to Village is looking for a dynamic and organized Project Coordinator who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring development projects. The role involves coordinating with field teams, stakeholders, and community members to ensure smooth implementation and timely completion of projects.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Community Mobilization
• Mobilize community members and beneficiaries in different project locations.
• Organize community meetings, awareness sessions, and training programs.
• Build strong relationships with farmers, community groups, and local leaders.
Project Implementation
• Lead and coordinate project activities at the field level.
• Ensure timely implementation of project plans and activities.
• Support project planning and community participation.
Team Coordination
• Guide and support field staff and mobilizers working in the project area.
• Coordinate with project team members to ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Provide regular updates to the project management team.
Monitoring and Reporting
• Monitor field activities and track project progress.
• Prepare field reports and documentation of project activities.
• Maintain records of beneficiaries, meetings, and program outcomes.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Coordinate with local authorities, community organizations, and partner institutions.
• Facilitate communication between the community and the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Agriculture, Management, or related field.
• Basic understanding of community mobilization and project management.
• Ability to work in field locations and rural communities.
Skills Required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and coordinate field teams
• Good organizational and reporting skills
• Ability to work with community groups and stakeholders
Preferred Experience
• 2-5 years of experience in community mobilization, field coordination, or project implementation.
• Experience in NGO, agriculture, rural development, or community-based projects will be an advantage.
