About the Organization
Institute for Global Development (IGD) is a not-for-profit institution focusing on adolescent, maternal and child health. Over the past 10 years, organizational work has been diversified in the areas of public health – Maternal and Child Health & Nutrition; Sexual and Reproductive Health with focus on Adolescents (10-19 years); Communicable (largely HIV, TB, and Hepatitis B & C); and Non-Communicable Diseases (Hypertension, Diabetes, Obesity & Mental Health). Nutrition being the core pillar of human development as well as a basic human need and a prerequisite to a healthy life, it is a cross-cutting agenda for maximum interventions.
One short animated AV film of duration 2-3 minutes will have to be developed on the theme of double fortified salt and anemia benefits. IGD will provide the reference content for the video. The video must have animated characters.
A. Scope of Service
Broadly, the assignment shall include the following activities:
- Developing the high-end FLASH/Animated video of 2-3 minutes
- Involving a minimum of 4-5 characters with multiple backgrounds
- Customized music composition and sound and voice over in one language (Kannada)
- Story boarding, illustration designing, 2D animation with music composition and recoding
- Creative supervision and final delivery by 25th Mar 2026
- Video shall be developed in one language (Kannada)
- Subtitles in English throughout the video
- Sharing the copyright of the composed music with the funder/IGD
- Script shall be provided by IGD in consultation with the funder
B. Eligibility Criteria
IGD invites agencies having expertise in developing films for the social sector
C. Deliverables/Outputs
1. Storyboard
2. Final edited 2–3-minute animated film in the required formats (mp4 and mov)
D. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
The Agency shall submit Technical and Financial proposals separately for this assignment by 15th Mar 2026 to jobs@igdindia.org
The Agency will provide a detailed cost breakup for each of the activities mentioned above. The costs should be inclusive of all taxes and the out-of-pocket expenses.
