The organization works across several districts in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, supporting rural communities through social and economic development programs.
Job Description
Chaitanya is looking for a Livelihood Associate to support community-based livelihood initiatives. The role involves working closely with SHGs and community members to promote income-generation activities, strengthen self-employment opportunities, and support women’s economic empowerment.
The Livelihood Associate will assist in training, coordination, field activities, and documentation related to livelihood programs.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Mobilize community members and SHGs for livelihood programs.
• Support income-generation and self-employment activities at the community level.
• Create linkages with government schemes, banks, and other institutions.
• Coordinate trainings, skill development, and capacity-building programs for beneficiaries.
• Maintain beneficiary data, documentation, and activity reports.
• Conduct field visits, surveys, and regular follow-up with beneficiaries.
• Support initiatives focused on women’s economic empowerment.
• Coordinate with local stakeholders and project team for smooth implementation of livelihood activities.
Qualification
• B.Sc / MSW / B.Tech (Agriculture or Horticulture) or any relevant field.
Skills Required
• Basic understanding of livelihood and rural development programs.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with community groups and SHGs.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
Salary
Rs 22,000 – Rs 25,000 per month (based on experience).
