Job Summary
We are looking for a diligent, experienced, and mobile Finance Assistant to handle daily accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial reporting across various project sites or office locations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong knowledge of accounting principles and a high willingness to travel for audits, inventory checks, and cash management.
Key Responsibilities
• On-Site Finance Operations: Manage daily cash/bank reconciliations and ensure smooth daily transactions at different project locations.
• Vendor and Third-Party Payments: Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle vendor reconciliation.
• Payroll and Employee Claims: Process employee travel claims, expense reimbursements, advances, and payroll inputs.
• Tax Compliance & Audits: Assist in preparation of tax assessments, statutory deductions (TDS, GST), and coordinating with internal/external auditors for site audits.
• Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and prepare weekly/monthly project financial reports.
• Asset Management: Perform physical verification of assets and inventory in coordination with field teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Master’s in Commerce (M.Com) or MBA (Finance) from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an industry requiring field visits.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP/SAP, MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and MS Office.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze cost data, variances, and financial discrepancies.
• Communication: Good interpersonal skills for coordinating with project sites and stakeholders.
