The Social Media & Digital Marketing Expert will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy to promote WIF’s vocational initiatives and products. The role aims to build brand identity, engage relevant target audiences, increase online sales opportunities, and support fundraising and donor visibility objectives.

The position will contribute directly to market-linked rehabilitation and long-term sustainability of livelihood programmes.

Deliverables

The Social Media & Digital Marketing Expert will deliver:

A 6–12 month Digital Strategy Plan
Monthly content calendar
Minimum defined number of posts per platform (to be agreed)
Monthly performance analytics report
Growth in followers, engagement, and sales enquiries
Digital campaign reports linked to exhibitions or special drives

5. Required Qualifications & Experience

Education:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in social media management and digital marketing.
Proven experience in brand building and growth campaigns.
Experience with NGOs, social enterprises, ethical fashion, or livelihood products preferred.

6. Required Skills & Competencies

Strong content creation and storytelling skills
Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools
Basic graphic design knowledge (Canva/Adobe or similar tools)
Understanding of digital advertising and paid campaigns
Knowledge of SEO and social media algorithms
Sensitivity in portraying vulnerable communities ethically
Data-driven decision-making ability
8. Duration of Engagement

· Initial contract for 6–12 months, renewable based on performance and project requirements

10. Remuneration

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and aligned with NGO/social enterprise standards. Consultancy or retainer models may be considered.
