About the Role:
Habitat Forum_INHAF seeks a Project Associate to support the ClimAct project in Chennai. The position will focus primarily on climate research, analysis, and knowledge development related to climate justice and urban climate systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Research & Analysis (Primary)
• Conduct research on climate initiatives and sectoral risks in Chennai
• Support documentation on climate justice, circular economy, and resilience
• Contribute to concept notes, presentations, and knowledge outputs

Institutional & Field Support (Secondary)
• Coordinate with educational institutions for awareness initiatives
• Support stakeholder engagement, consultations, and workshops
• Assist in documentation, reporting, and field execution

Qualifications:
Graduate or early-career professional in Environmental Studies, Climate Change, Sustainability, Development Studies, Public Policy, Urban Studies, or related disciplines

Required Skills:
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Interest in climate justice and urban climate action
• Experience or ability to engage with institutions and communities
• Proficiency in Tamil (mandatory)
