Position: Cluster Coordinator
Reporting To: Team Leader
About the Role

The Cluster Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating community-level interventions related to climate change, eco-system restoration, and climate adaptive livelihoods in agriculture and fisheries sectors. The role requires close coordination with community institutions, government line departments, and the NGO core team to ensure effective implementation of project activities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Community Facilitation & Capacity Building

Facilitate Village and Gram Panchayat (GP) level meetings, trainings, and awareness programs on climate change, eco-system restoration, and climate adaptive livelihood interventions.

Work closely with communities, Climate Champions, VSS/EDCs, WSHGs, GPs, Farmers’ and Fishers’ groups, and NGO team members.

Assist the NGO Core Team and Climate Champions in organizing sensitization and capacity-building programs at village/GP level.

Groom and provide continuous handholding support to Climate Champions for effective community mobilization.

2. Planning & Implementation

Facilitate baseline surveys, micro-planning, situation assessments, and livelihood planning in agriculture and fishery-related interventions.

Provide handholding support to livelihood groups, PIAs, and the NGO core team for effective implementation of eco-system and climate adaptive livelihood activities.

Ensure at least 15 field visit days per month to assigned project villages.

3. Coordination & Convergence

Coordinate with relevant line departments at the local level for convergence and implementation of government schemes in project villages.

Develop and strengthen advocacy channels for the NGO and maintain coordination with key stakeholders.

4. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare and submit monthly progress reports covering activities, events, and project interventions in the assigned area.

Maintain proper documentation of meetings, trainings, and field activities.

5. Other Responsibilities

Perform any other task assigned by the Supervisor as per project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria
Experience (Mandatory)

Minimum 3 years of work experience in an NGO.

Skills Required
Strong community mobilization and facilitation skills.
Experience in conducting surveys and micro-planning.
Good coordination skills with government departments.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work extensively in field conditions.

Technical Requirement (Mandatory)

Computer proficiency certificate is mandatory.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic reporting formats.

Compensation- 18k Salary+ TA
