Job Description of Zero Waste Auditor
Job Summary
We seek a dedicated Zero Waste Auditor to support institutions in transitioning to zero-
waste campuses. The successful candidate will conduct audits, provide training, and
promote sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct surveys of campuses/offices to assess infrastructure requirements for zero-
waste transition.
2. Prepare comprehensive audit reports.
3. Deliver presentations to institutions, pitching zero-waste campus benefits.
4. Educate students, staff, and stakeholders on solid waste management best practices.
5. Train housekeeping staff on zero-waste processes and procedures.
Requirements
Essential Skills
1. Passion for environmental sustainability and making a positive impact.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Computer literacy (MS Office, Google Suite).
4. Fluency in Kannada, English, and Hindi.
Desirable Qualities
1. Experience in environmental auditing or sustainability.
2. Knowledge of waste management regulations and policies.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Minimum 1 year work experience in any field.
Work Location: Bangalore
Salary: 24,000 + based on experience
