Reports To: Project Manager / Counsellor / TI Programme In-Charge

Position Summary

The Male Outreach Worker (ORW) will be responsible for field-level implementation of the Targeted Intervention (TI) programme for Injecting Drug Users (IDUs) under the guidelines of the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO). The ORW will identify, mobilize, and provide prevention, care, and support services to IDUs to reduce HIV transmission and improve their overall health and well-being.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum qualification: 10th

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in HIV/AIDS, harm reduction, or community-based programmes.

Must be willing to travel extensively in field areas.

Good communication skills in local language.

Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS, drug use, and harm reduction approaches preferred.

Remuneration

As per National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) TI programme norms and organizational policy.

Salary - 10500 + TA
