Job Description – Accountant
Sarita Charitable Trust is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the organization’s financial records and ensure compliance with statutory and donor requirements. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial transparency and supporting smooth program implementation.
Key Responsibilities:-
•Maintain day-to-day accounting records and books of accounts
•Prepare financial statements, vouchers, and reports
•Handle budgeting, expense tracking, and fund utilization reports
•Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and filing requirements
•Manage bank reconciliation and cash flow records
•Support internal and external audit processes
•Coordinate with program teams for financial documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:-
•Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance (B.Com / BBA)
•Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (NGO experience preferred)
•Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
