The MER Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes to measure program effectiveness, outcomes, and impact. This role ensures timely, accurate, and insightful data collection, analysis, and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making, program improvement, and stakeholder accountability.
The Head of MEL and Documentation Manager must be able to juggle multiple tasks at once while keeping an eye on long-term objectives and deadlines. He / She must also possess strong leadership skills, as they are often tasked with overseeing teams of project managers who work on individual projects within the larger aspect of the programs.
