With 24 centres currently operating across West Bengal, Rajasthan, Bihar, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, the Foundation provides skill development training, such as tailoring, beauty and wellness, digital literacy, and life skills to young girls and women. Role Overview
The Centre Coordinator & Computer Trainer is a dual role combining day-to-day operational
management of the Apni Kutir centre with delivery of foundational computer and digital literacy training. The role ensures that the centre functions smoothly as a learning and community space while equipping women and girls with essential digital skills that open pathways to employment and self-employment in today's economy.

Key Responsibilities

Centre Management & Coordination
• Oversee the daily operations of the Apni Kutir centre, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and productive environment for all participants.
• Coordinate schedules across all training programmes and trainers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Maintain accurate attendance registers, student records, and training documentation.
• Liaise with the central team to ensure compliance with programme guidelines, timelines, and reporting requirements.
• Manage centre inventory, maintenance needs, and administrative tasks.
• Support community mobilisation efforts to drive enrolment and sustained participation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students, families, trainers, and visiting stakeholders.

Computer & Digital Literacy Training
• Deliver engaging, hands-on computer training sessions in Marathi and Hindi covering MS Word, MS Excel, Google Workspace, internet usage, email, and mobile-based digital tools according to the syllabus.
• Design and adapt the curriculum to match the digital literacy levels and aspirations of learners, many of whom may be first-time computer users.
• Support students in understanding and using digital platforms relevant to livelihood creation — including e-commerce, UPI payments, and social media for small businesses.
• Track student learning progress and provide additional support to those who need it.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer equipment and report technical issues promptly.

Key Requirements
1. Proficiency in Marathi (spoken and written) is essential; working knowledge of Hindi and basic written English required.
2. Strong command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer usage and documentation ability on Google Workspace.
3. Ability to teach digital skills to absolute beginners with patience and clarity.
4. Good organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
5. Warm, community-oriented approach with the ability to build trust with women and families and counsel and mentor them as they begin their journeys to earn.
6. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously and meet reporting deadlines.

Qualifications
7. Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background or training in Computer Applications is required. Or demonstrated knowledge of computer applications.
8. 1-3 years of experience in training, coordination, or community-facing roles.
9. Prior experience working with NGOs or women's development programmes is an advantage.
