About the Project
Sabuj Sangha, with support from L&T Finance, is implementing an Integrated Community Development Project in Purba Bardhaman district focusing on Digital Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion, Water Sovereignty, Climate Smart Villages, livelihood enhancement, and community institution strengthening. The project aims to empower rural communities through sustainable development approaches, climate resilience, improved access to financial services, and community-led resource management.
Job Summary
Sabuj Sangha is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project MIS Officer to support the implementation and documentation of the L&T Finance supported Integrated Community Development Project across different blocks of Purba Bardhaman district. The MIS Officer will be responsible for maintaining project data, preparing reports, documentation, case studies, and ensuring timely and accurate management information systems for the project.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update project MIS/database regularly and ensure data accuracy.
• Compile, analyze, and prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
• Coordinate with field teams for collection of project data, beneficiary details, and activity reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and donor reporting formats as required.
• Support project documentation including case studies, success stories, photographs, and field narratives.
• Ensure proper filing and record management of project documents and reports.
• Assist in monitoring project activities and tracking project indicators.
• Support preparation of presentations, data sheets, and project summaries.
• Coordinate with programme teams for data verification and information management.
• Maintain digital records and support communication/documentation requirements of the project.
• Any other MIS/documentation related responsibilities assigned by the management.
Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates with Social Work background will be preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience as MIS Officer/Documentation Officer in development sector projects.
• Excellent English writing and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of data management, reporting, and documentation processes.
• Ability to prepare case studies, success stories, photographs, and field documentation.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to project locations when required.
