About the Project
Sabuj Sangha, with support from L&T Finance, is implementing an Integrated Community Development Project in Purba Bardhaman district focusing on Digital Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion, Water Sovereignty, Climate Smart Villages, livelihood enhancement, and community institution strengthening. The project aims to empower rural communities through sustainable development approaches, climate resilience, improved access to financial services, and community-led resource management.
Job Summary
Sabuj Sangha is looking for dynamic and motivated Project Cluster Coordinators to lead and supervise field-level implementation of the Digital Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion Project in Purba Bardhaman. The selected candidates will coordinate with community stakeholders, supervise field staff, monitor project activities, and ensure effective implementation and reporting of project interventions.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and supervise project implementation across assigned clusters
• Support field teams in conducting digital financial literacy sessions and awareness activities
• Ensure achievement of project targets and timely reporting
• Coordinate with local stakeholders, PRI members, banks, and community institutions
• Monitor field activities and maintain project documentation and MIS
• Facilitate community mobilization and beneficiary engagement
• Conduct regular field visits and provide guidance to project staff
• Support preparation of monthly reports, case studies, and project updates
• Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and community events
• Ensure compliance with organizational and donor guidelines
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the management
Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate/Post Graduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, Management, or any relevant discipline from a recognized University
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in community development or social sector projects
• Experience in financial literacy, livelihood, SHG promotion, or community mobilization projects will be preferred
• Strong communication, coordination, and team management skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office and digital reporting systems
• Ability to travel extensively within project areas
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in NGO/CSR projects
