Education Qualifications :
Essential :
• Masters in Education or Social Sciences or
• Humanities or Business Administration in Human Resource
Desirable :
• Specialization in relevant areas such as education policy, educational training or education management would be preferred.
• Knowledge in emerging technologies involved in skilling.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software allows for data – driven decision making and evidence – based programming.
Experience :
• Minimum 8 years’ extensive experience relevant
• to job description.
• Candidates should also have demonstrated experience relating to leading teams, managing projects, as well as conducting stakeholder engagement.
• The experience of internship/training will not be considered
Job description / Duties & Responsibilities :
• Formulation of policy and long-term strategy relating to Pre- Primary, elementary, secondary, senior secondary, higher, technical, teacher education and adult literacy, areas of special focus such as education for girls, SCs, STs, Minorities and Children with Special Needs, Sustainable action for Transforming Human Capital in Education.
• Undertaking and / or managing policy research and evidence-based analysis
• Organizing meetings and workshops, sharing knowledge, experience, and best practices.
• Building consensus among stakeholders and advocacy towards reforms in the field, analyze and provide inputs in respect of various Cabinet notes, SFC/EFC Notes and any other issues received from line ministries/ departments.
• Responsible for all matters relating to Education, Skill Development and Human resource and coordinate with Planning and NITI Aayog work mandate on SDG and any other matter assigned by the superiors.
• Maintain synergy between the State Planning Department, LKI and NITI Aayog.
• To assist PIU and DAU in achieving its objectives in collaboration with NITI Aayog and the LKI
• Evaluation and assessment of existing strategies, methodologies, and systems to improve the socio-economic condition of the State.
• Preparation of development strategies, sectoral targets, socio economic goals and State Vision@ 2047, as per the State’s requirements and roadmap to achieve the same.
• Draft policy briefs, presentations, and other documents.
• Coordination with development partners and
• technical agency concerned.
Knowledge and Skills :
• Experience in Stake holder management
• Experience in drafting reports and reviewing detailed project Reports
• Prior experience with Government, UN agencies and other international organizations is desirable.
• Knowledge and experience related to National / State planning
• Excellent Analytical & Problem-solving skills
Languages Requirements :
• Excellent verbal and written English, Telugu language skills and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural Environment.
Leave :
• Entitled to have State government enlisted holidays
• Individuals will be entitled to leaves of (18) days in the entire year
