Education Qualifications :
Essential :
• A post-graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA), Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Economics, or
• related fields.
Desirable :
• In-depth knowledge of startup ecosystems, business incubation, entrepreneurship development, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
• Familiarity with national and international start-up policies, funding models, and innovation frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for evidence-based decision-making and performance tracking.
Experience :
• Minimum 8 (eight) years’ experience in entrepreneurship, startup management, or business development.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing programs aimed at startup ecosystem development, including incubation, acceleration, and venture funding.
• Experience in building and scaling startups, from idea generation to execution.
• Strong experience in fundraising, venture capital, and working with angel investors, incubators, or accelerators.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and engage stakeholders including entrepreneurs, investors, and government bodies.
• Strong analytical, business strategy, and communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, business plans, and presentations.
• Experience in mentorship and capacity building for entrepreneurs and startup teams.
• The experience of internship/training will not be considered.
Job description / Duties & Responsibilities :
• Maintain Synergy between government agencies, startup incubators, and venture capitalists to promote a flourishing startup ecosystem.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on matters related to startups, entrepreneurship, and business development.
• Develop and implement strategies for entrepreneurship growth, focusing on women-led startups, innovation, and scaling businesses.
• Assess and evaluate existing startup ecosystems, identifying gaps and recommending strategies for improvement.
• Design training modules and capacity-building programs aimed at entrepreneurial skills development, business model innovation, and fundraising.
• Provide mentoring and advisory services to entrepreneurs and startup founders, especially women entrepreneurs and underrepresented groups.
• Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, investors, and industry stakeholders to foster innovation, research and development, and collaborative entrepreneurship.
• Develop policy briefs, white papers, and business strategies to enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Support the design and implementation of entrepreneurship development programs, helping entrepreneurs navigate funding challenges, market entry, and scaling.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentoring to incubators, accelerators, and co-working spaces.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of startup development initiatives, developing metrics to track success.
• Document success stories, best practices, and innovative solutions to enhance knowledge-sharing in the entrepreneurship sector.
• Prepare regular reports, updates, and progress analysis for key stakeholders (Government, Private sector, etc.) using data-driven insights.
• Promote gender inclusion in the startup ecosystem, fostering opportunities for women entrepreneurs and ensuring equitable access to resources and funding.
• Organize workshops, conferences, and networking events to create opportunities for collaboration and partnership across the startup ecosystem.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by the
• supervisor (Team Leader) in the interest of the mission.
Knowledge and Skills :
• Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in engaging with investors, founders, startups, and government bodies.
• Experience in drafting business plans, project proposals, policy briefs, and other reports relevant to entrepreneurship and startup growth.
• In-depth knowledge of startup accelerators, venture capital, and angel investment networks.
• Familiarity with global best practices in entrepreneurial ecosystem development, innovation hubs, and business scaling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess startup potential, market opportunities, and business models.
• Strong communication skills to present complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to mentor and provide practical
• advice to entrepreneurs at different stages of their business journey.
Languages Requirements :
• Excellent verbal and written English, Telugu language skills and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural Environment.
