Hiring | Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Farmer Producer Organization (FPO)

Centre for Good Governance (CGG), on behalf of Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), invites applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for SERPpromoted Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) across Telangana.

Position: CEO – FPO

Location: In Telangana across 30 districts Type: Contractual (Initial period of 1 year)

Role Objective:

To administer FPO activities and day-to-day business operations with the objective of making the farmers economically sustainable. Eligibility:
• Graduate/Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture and Agri allied sectors, and AgriMarketing, Agri-Business Management, etc.
• Business Administration / Management, or equivalent.

Experience:
Minimum 1+ year of grassroots-level experience working with farmers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the overall operations and resources of the FPO on a day-to-day basis
• Making major company decisions with approval of the FPO Board of Directors (BoDs)
• Acting as the main point of communication between the Board and FPO
• Launching new products or services of the company
• Identifying new business opportunities and cultivating deeper customer relationships
• Assist farmers in increasing their revenue by timely input supply, bulk procurement, and collective marketing.
• Overseeing and monitoring company documentations, legal compliances, and financial matters
• Facilitating the use of digital tools and technology to improve operational efficiency
• Leading the development of the company’s short-term and long-term strategy.

Salary: Rs 25,000/month (Rs 20,000 Fixed Salary + Rs 3,000 TA/DA + Rs 2,000 Performance Based Incentive). Annual increment up to 5% based on performance.
Posting Locations: 84 SERP-promoted FPOs across 30 districts of Telangana.
