1.Roles and Responsibilities
As Marketing Manager your key roles and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
A. Strategic and Functional Responsibilities
* Providing legal, statutory, and administrative support for the effective functioning of the Producer Company as per applicable guidelines.
* Supporting community mobilization and strengthening inclusive local leadership.
* Leading business development initiatives of the Producer Company.
* Mobilizing and strengthening the share capital of the Company.
* Conducting market research and establishing sustainable and profitable market linkages.
* Integrating appropriate technologies and exploring value addition opportunities for primary produce.
* Ensuring timely availability of quality agricultural inputs at affordable prices to member producers.
* Working closely with the Board of Directors to mobilize additional producers to join the Producer Company.
* Acting as a liaison between government departments, promoting agencies, and the Producer Company.
B. Administrative and Operational Responsibilities
* Managing day-to-day administrative and operational affairs of the Company.
* Operating bank accounts subject to general or special approval of the Board of Directors.
* Ensuring safe custody of cash, records, and other assets of the Company.
* Assisting the Board in formulation of goals, strategies, plans, and policies.
* Advising the Board on legal and regulatory matters and ensuring statutory compliance.
* Exercising powers necessary in the ordinary course of business as delegated by the Board.
* Providing timely information and coordination for scheduled, emergency, or short-notice meetings of Members and the Board of Directors.
* Planning and managing input and output business operations of the Company.
* Ensuring timely payments to farmers and recovery of dues from buyers.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with buyers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
* Conducting profit and loss analysis and supporting financial decision-making.
C. Reporting and Coordination Responsibilities
* Providing required data, records, and information to promoting agencies and government departments.
* Participating in internal and external monitoring, audits, and review meetings.
* Complying with prescribed monitoring systems and reporting processes.
* Participating in workshops, training programs, conferences, and review meetings as required.
* Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly, and annual reports of the Company.
2.Remuneration and Incentives
1.During the probation period, you shall be paid a fixed remuneration of Rs. 13,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) per month.
2.After successful completion of the probation period of 3 months you shall continue to receive Rs. 15,000/- per month.
3.Education Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university(Preference will be given to candidates from a Commerce background) with Proficiency in computer skill.
4.Experience:
Experience in marketing and business development of farmer producer organization(FPO).
