I. Introduction
Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI)?is a resource organization committed to improving the overall quality of life in rural and tribal regions across the Central India belt, spanning the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Established in 2007 as an associate organization of Tata Trusts, CInI has pioneered several scalable and impactful programs across key thematic areas—Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH), Education, Sports, Primary Healthcare & Nutrition. Our initiatives are aligned with the?Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030?and have been recognised on national and international platforms.
CInI anchors its work in community institutions, women’s collectives, and frontline workers. In partnership with CSOs and State Governments, we leverage technology, and robust processes to deliver sustainable, scalable impact—powered by 300+ development professionals across implementation geographies.
II. Job Purpose:
To support the effective implementation and strengthening of adolescent health and school health programs by facilitating the adoption of government guidelines, enhancing coordination among health facilities, schools, community platforms, and government stakeholders, driving community awareness initiatives, building local capacities, and ensuring timely monitoring, documentation, and reporting of program outcomes to improve adolescent health and well-being in the intervention areas.
III. Key Accountabilities:
• Provide supportive handhold at the intervention health facilities for uptake/adoption of operational guidelines under Rashtriya Kishore Swasthya Karyakram and School Health & Wellness Program; support development of Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics in select facilities
• Develop traction with the district level program functionaries such as Chief Medical & Health Officer, District Education Officer and program officials; Coordinate with gram panchayat, block/district level officials and local stakeholders to align efforts, address gaps and mobilising local resources.
• Drive health awareness activities in intervention areas through outreach initiatives of health centers
• Develop inter-linkages and improve coordination between intervention health facilities and schools for effective uptake of program activities
• Work closely with community level platforms such as School Management Committee, Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committee (VHSNC) to strengthen community engagement on programmatic areas
• Attending and conducting trainings for capacity building wherever needed, in accordance with the latest programmatic developments and Government guidelines
• Participate in and support implementation studies/surveys, ensure timely reporting and documentation of progress, success stories, and best practices.
• Any other areas of support as per project requirements
• Willingness to travel extensively within the block, team work, accountability, and the ability to meet timelines. Comfortable with working in a multidisciplinary team setting .
IV. Eligibility and requirements
Education: Post Graduate degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management or Social Work.
Experience: 3-5 years community-based health, sanitation & hygiene or development programs, preferably in rural areas. Experience of working with community level programs is an advantage.
Skills, Competencies and Experience: Understanding of Public Health Systems preferred. Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication, fluency in the local language/dialect, and sound computer and presentation skills are essential.
