Position Details
Position: District Coordinator
Unit: Odisha
Place of Work: Koraput (Jeypore, Kundra and Kotapad)
Reporting To:Tribal Area Program Coordinator
Department: Health & Nutrition
No. of Vacancies:1 (One)
Contractual Period: Till, February 2027. (To be extended based on extension of the project)
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs 35000/- per month CTC
1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
A) QUALIFICATION:
i) ESSENTIAL: Graduate/Post Graduate Public health/ Social sciences/ Rural Development/ Healthcare Management. The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Power point.
B) AGE: 25-35 Years
C) LANGUAGES KNOWN: Excellent communication skills in English, Odia. Working knowledge of Hindi and local language is desirable
D) ANY OTHER (PLEASE SPECIFY)
2. EXPERIENCE : Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the social development sector with experience in managing and implementation of public health programmes.
3. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The District Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all the activities in the respective blocks of Koraput District (Jeypore, Kundra, Kotpad). The District Coordinator will ensure timely and successful implementation of all project activity in the concerned district, facilitate convergence meeting, with District and Block level officials, document district and block level activities, report return, conduct regular visits to project areas and ensure smooth implementation as per timelines, provide support in capacity building initiatives, provide hand holding support to the Cluster Supervisor and Community Mobilisers for quality implementation of project activities. Any other need-based responsibilities assigned by the organization shall also be undertaken.

2. EXPERIENCE: Work Experience in Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (Preferrable)

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Cluster Supervisors apart from handholding support to the community mobilisers would engage with the Block level institutions, Gram Panchayats and Sub-Centres for facilitation of convergent meetings, system strengthening through capacity building of FLWs and Stakeholders, report returns, documentation of field activities for management of the health and nutrition services in all the 3 intervention Blocks. Any other need-based responsibilities assigned by the organization shall also be undertaken

4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
A) QUALIFICATION:
i) ESSENTIAL: Graduate/ Post Graduate. The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Working Knowledge on Word, Excel and Google Work Space.
B) AGE: 25-35 Years
C) LANGUAGES KNOWN: Excellent communication skills in Odia. Working knowledge of English, Hindi and local language is desirable
D) ANY OTHER (PLEASE SPECIFY)
5. EXPERIENCE : Work Experience in Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (Preferrable)
1. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The community mobilizer will be responsible for Social and health determinants being monitored regularly, regular home visits and follow up, health and nutrition status measured and noted every month, beneficiaries and their family members counseled about home-based care, hygiene practices, nutrition counseling on balanced diet and dietary diversity, conducting meeting at VHSND, RI session, and GP, liaisoning with FLWs (ASHA, ANM, AWW, CHO) for health and related activities
