Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre’s journey begins with the supervision of a dynamic lady Ms. Sanju Barick in the year 2012. She started a revolutionary and unorthodox system for those people who have fallen in the vicious trap of drug/alcohol abuse. This treatment is a combination of psychological and pharmacological initiative which aims at the eradication of addiction caused by drugs and alcohol.

The objectives of Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre are as outlined below:

To create awareness and educate people about the ill effects of alcoholism and substance abuse on the individual, the family, the workplace and society at large;

To provide for the whole range of community based services for the identification, motivation, counseling, deaddiction, after care and rehabilitation for Whole Person Recovery (WPR) of addicts to make a person drug free, crime free and gainfully employed;

To alleviate the consequences of drug and alcohol dependence amongst the individuals, the family and society at large;

To facilitate research, training, documentation and collection of relevant information to strengthen the above mentioned objectives; and

To support other activities which are in consonance with the mandate of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India in this field.

In the year 2022, Alternative to Addiction Creating Centre started District De-addiction Centre in Shamli District under the aegis of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India which is an amalgamation of IRCA, ODIC and CPLI projects under one umbrella.

We are looking for Project Incharge, Outreach Workers, Social Workers for District De-addiction Centre at Shamli. Overall management of the centre.
