The organization works across several districts in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, focusing on women’s rights, social development, and sustainable livelihoods.
Job Description:
Chaitanya is looking for dynamic and committed Operations Managers to support and strengthen field operations and systems at the district level. The role involves coordinating with project teams, SHGs, federations, and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting field teams, ensuring timely documentation, and maintaining coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee project operations at the district level.
• Support field teams in implementing project activities effectively.
• Ensure timely documentation, reporting, and data management.
• Coordinate with SHGs, federations, community institutions, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and provide operational support to the team.
• Facilitate meetings, trainings, and capacity-building activities.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, systems, and processes.
• Support communication and coordination with government departments and partner organizations.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports and updates.
Qualification:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Management, or any equivalent discipline.
Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in operations, project management, or community development programs.
• Experience working with SHGs, federations, and livelihood programs will be preferred.
Skills Required:
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic data management.
• Ability to travel within the district and work closely with community institutions.
• Basic knowledge of social media management and digital communication.
