India HIV/AIDS Alliance (Alliance India) is one of India's leading not-for-profit organizations working to strengthen the national response to HIV and related public health issues. Through partnerships with civil society organizations, government institutions, and community-led organizations, Alliance India promotes equitable access to healthcare, social protection, human rights, and community empowerment for marginalized populations.

Under the SAHAS 2.0 Project, India HIV/AIDS Alliance provides overall technical guidance, programme leadership, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation support, and quality assurance. Rajmala Welfare Society (RWS) is responsible for implementing project activities across the assigned districts of Delhi, working in close coordination with Alliance India to deliver high-quality, community-led interventions for transgender persons.

About SAHAS 2.0 Project
SAHAS 2.0 is a comprehensive community-based programme focused on improving the quality of life of transgender persons by strengthening access to healthcare, gender-affirming care, social protection schemes, crisis response services, education, livelihood opportunities, and community systems. The project aims to build resilient transgender communities while ensuring dignity, equality, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of SAHAS 2.0 across the assigned project area and will be responsible for programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, monitoring, reporting, finance, and administration.

Programme Management
1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all project activities in the assigned districts.
2. Improve access to healthcare services, including gender-affirming care.
3. Facilitate linkages with government welfare schemes and social protection programmes.
4. Coordinate crisis response services and referrals for transgender community members.
5. Build and maintain partnerships with government departments, healthcare institutions, police, community-based organizations, and civil society partners.
6. Organize community meetings, workshops, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building programmes.
7. Prepare case studies, success stories, best practices, and programme documentation.
8. Ensure timely achievement of project targets and deliverables.
9.Provide overall team leadership, supervision and mentoring to ensure effective coordination and performance - work with fairness and sensitivity towards team members
10. Represent the organisation in relevant external committees, partnerships, and consortia, as requested by the reporting manager.
11. Adhere strictly to the organisational work plan and individual performance plan, ensuring quality, accountability, and timely delivery of outputs aligned with organisational strategic directions.
12. Lead the team with a sense of fairness and instill a sense of service to the community in the team by providing guidance and mentorship.
13. Maintain high standards of ethics and integrity at all times.
14. Coordinate closely with the national-level team of Alliance India to align state-level.

Monitoring & Evaluation
1. Maintain accurate programme data and documentation.
2. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
3. Conduct routine data verification and quality checks.
4. Support baseline, midline, and end-line assessments as per need.
5. Coordinate with the National team at Alliance India for guidance and reporting requirements.

Finance & Administration
1. Maintain basic financial records and supporting documents at the site level.
2. Assist in preparing and submitting financial and administrative reports timely.
3. Ensure proper record keeping of bills, vouchers, and project documents.
4. Support day-to-day administrative work related to project implementation.
5. Coordinate with the National team at Alliance India for guidance and reporting requirements.
6. Ensure compliance with organizational and donor guidelines.

Team Management
1. Supervise and mentor field staff and community outreach workers.
2. Promote teamwork, accountability, inclusion, and professional conduct.
3. Represent RWS in meetings, consultations, and external forums whenever required.

Qualifications
1. Relevant Degree or diploma
2. Candidates from the transgender community will be preferred and based on experience the education criteria may be relaxed.
Experience
3. Prior relevant experience in leading community-based programmes, preferably working with transgender communities or other key populations.
4. Demonstrated experience in programme implementation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement, including working with TG persons groups and key populations, government departments, healthcare providers, and other partners.
5. Good understanding of holistic health and development issues, including HIV/STI, TB, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Gender Affirming Care (GAC), social protection schemes, and welfare programmes affecting the transgender community.
6. Experience in programme documentation and reporting, including preparation of field updates, workshop reports, and periodic programme reports.
7. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, including programme coordination, finance and administration tasks, and monitoring & data evaluation, ensuring smooth day-to-day project operations.
8. Computer proficiency, including the use of MS Office, email communication, and preparation of reports.
