# Block Coordinator

**Organization:** Care Foundation
**Position:** Block Coordinator
**Location:** Jamnagar and Bhavnagar, Gujarat
**Contract Duration:** 1 Year (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)
**Salary:** 17,000 per month

## About the Role

Care Foundation is seeking motivated and committed professionals to join its team as **Block Coordinators**. The selected candidates will work closely with government primary and upper primary schools to support the effective implementation of school-based health and education initiatives.

## Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and support project activities in assigned schools.
* Work closely with school authorities, teachers, and students in primary and upper primary schools.
* Facilitate health, hygiene, and education awareness sessions.
* Conduct regular field visits and monitor programme implementation.
* Maintain project records, documentation, and reports.
* Liaise with local stakeholders and government departments as required.

## Required Qualifications & Experience

* MSW, BA B. ED
* Prior experience in the health and/or education sector is preferred.
* Experience working with schools, communities, or development projects will be an added advantage.

## Skills & Competencies

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, and Email.
* Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned block.
* Strong reporting and documentation skills.
