About the Organization
Mamta Health Institute for Mother and Child (Mamta-HIMC), www.mamtahimc.in a not for profit institution is registered under Society Registration Act 1956. The organization was established in the year 1990 focusing on adolescent, maternal and child health. Over the past three decades, organizational work has been diversified in the areas of public health – Maternal and Child Health & Nutrition; Sexual and Reproductive Health with focus on Adolescents (10-19 years); Communicable (largely HIV, TB, and Hepatitis B & C); and Non-Communicable Diseases (Hypertension, Diabetes, Obesity & Mental Health). Nutrition being the core pillar of human development as well as a basic human need and a prerequisite to a healthy life, it is a cross cutting agenda for maximum interventions.
Objective
Mamta-HIMC is seeking quotations from experienced organizations to perform tentatively 20 Nukkad Natak Local Event per district in various selected intervention sites of Uttar Pradesh (Bahraich, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Kaushambi, and Varanasi); Rajasthan (Dholpur and Hanumangarh); Delhi (East Delhi); Maharashtra (Nagpur and Gadchiroli); and Himachal Pradesh (Shimla, Mandi, and Chamba).
Objectives of the Campaign:
The goal of the health education camp program is to address non-communicable diseases.
Our aim is to encourage behaviour and lifestyle changes to reduce diabetes, blood pressure, and obesity through counselling sessions.
Scope of Work
- Content Development & Customization: The agency must develop culturally relevant, vernacular-language scripts focused on NCD symptoms, prevention, and lifestyle changes. Scripts should be engaging, medically accurate, and approved by the program team.
- Interactive Community Engagement: Each performance must include a question-answer session to clarify health-related doubts and encourage community interaction. The agency should distribute symbolic rewards to participants.
- Qualified Performance Team: The agency must deploy trained artists with prior experience in health-based street theatre, capable of effectively delivering messages and interacting with rural audiences.
- Documentation & Reporting: The agency is responsible for detailed reporting of each event, including date, location, number of attendees, photos/videos, and feedback. A comprehensive final report must be submitted at the end of the campaign.
Terms & Conditions
- The events conceptual scripts will be provided by agency, which can only be modified after prior permission and review from MAMTA project team.
- The vendor cannot modify the script without the knowledge of MAMTA project team.
- Payments will be made by MAMTA to the vendor in instalments according to a mutually agreed upon payment schedule and upon submission of original invoices.
- Tax deductions will be done as per the relevant rules of the Government of India.
- Share the quotation on letter head inclusive of GST (Otherwise not considered).
Others
- MAMTA HIMC reserves the right to reject all or any quotation(s), wholly or partly, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
- MAMTA HIMC team reserves the right to request the top 3 quotations for an in-person discussion.
- MAMTA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to conduct negotiations in accordance with MAMTA and/donor’s policies and procedures and to request additional information from prospective Bidders to supplement or clarify any aspect of the proposal documents if such revisions will be in the interest of our programs
- Only shortlisted agencies will be contacted.
- You must pay all sub-vendor payments before submitting the hard copy of the final bills and supporting documents to MAMTA HIMC.
- MAMTA shall not be legally bound by any award notice issued for this RFQ until an Agreement is duly signed and executed with the winning bidder(s).
- Further details will be shared with shortlisted agencies.
Application Process –
- All applicants (company/agency/institutional) if applicable, should follow the Government of India guidelines/policy for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) at the workplace. As part of the application process, you are required to share the status of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). If the committee is not incorporated, then under what criteria is it not enacted?
- Interested agencies, organizations, and individuals must submit a proposal for the Nukkad Natak that includes the implementation approach, portfolio of past work, financial proposal, and project timeline.
- The technical and financial proposals should be submitted in soft copy via email to rfp@mamtahimc.in by 15 July 2026, with the subject line: "Quotation for Nukkad Natak – AJJA Campaign – (State/District Name)"

Separate quotations must be submitted for each state and each event. We encourage local vendors to apply. Incomplete applications or applications received after the submission deadline will not be considered. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted by the selection committee.
