Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Environmental Science, Life Science, Ecology, or any other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in documentation, communication, media, or knowledge management, preferably in the development, NGO, or environmental sector.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Bengali.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, basic video editing, and digital communication tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content writing, transcription, image enhancement, video editing, report drafting, and data visualization.
- Experience in managing social media platforms, website content, and digital campaigns will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Prepare project reports, case studies, success stories, newsletters, annual reports, and donor documentation.
- Maintain an organized repository of photographs, videos, publications, and project documents.
- Support documentation aligned with the NEWS MEAL framework.
2. Content Development & Communication
- Develop high-quality communication materials including brochures, posters, newsletters, blogs, social media content, and awareness materials.
- Prepare creative visual content including photo stories, short films, reels, and presentations.
- Ensure all communication materials follow NEWS branding guidelines.
3. Digital & Social Media Management
- Manage NEWS social media platforms, website updates, and digital outreach.
- Prepare content calendars and monitor audience engagement.
- Utilize AI tools for content generation, scheduling, SEO optimization, and analytics.
4. Field Documentation
- Visit project sites to document field activities through photography, videography, interviews, and community stories.
- Ensure proper documentation, captions, geo-tagging, and consent records for all field content.
5. Reporting & Proposal Support
- Support project teams in preparing donor reports, concept notes, presentations, and communication materials.
- Coordinate with MEAL and project teams for evidence-based documentation and reporting.
6. Events & Media Coordination
- Cover organizational events, workshops, trainings, and field visits through photography, videography, and written reports.
- Assist in preparing press releases, media briefs, and maintaining media relations.
7. Team Coordination
- Support project teams in documenting best practices, innovations, and impact stories.
- Provide basic guidance to staff on photography, videography, documentation standards, and AI-based communication tools.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent documentation, report writing, and storytelling skills.
- Creative in photography, videography, graphic design, and visual storytelling.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bengali.
- Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and digital content management.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools for writing, image editing, video editing, transcription, and content optimization.
- Good understanding of social media management, digital communication, and branding.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field documentation and project communication.
