NGO Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Manager

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Manager with a proven background in the NGO, development, or social impact sector. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end recruitment, strengthen HR systems, and help build a team that can support ANF's long-term growth and fundraising goals.
Mandatory Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience working with an NGO, non-profit, foundation, trust, or social enterprise.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting professionals for NGO functions such as fundraising, finance, communications, operations, healthcare, and field programs.
• Strong understanding of NGO culture, volunteer engagement, donor-funded projects, and mission-driven organizations.
• Experience developing HR policies, performance management systems, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for all positions within ANF.
• Recruit CSR Fundraisers, Corporate Partnership Managers, Grant Writers, Finance & Accounts staff, HR personnel, Project Coordinators, Field Coordinators, Healthcare Professionals, Digital Marketing Executives, Video Editors, Graphic Designers, and Administrative staff.
• Build recruitment strategies and talent pipelines using Indeed, LinkedIn, Naukri, NGO networks, and professional referrals.
• Conduct candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
• Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
• Improve employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices.
• Build internship and volunteer engagement programs.
Preferred Experience:
· Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in NGOs, charitable trusts, foundations, or social enterprises, particularly in the areas of healthcare, public health, cancer care, education, child welfare, women and child development, disability inclusion, community development, livelihoods, disaster relief, or CSR-funded projects.
· Candidates with a proven track record of recruiting professionals for fundraising, corporate partnerships, grant management, finance, communications, healthcare, field operations, and program management will be highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
• Experience hiring for NGOs involved in healthcare, education, child welfare, public health, CSR, or community development.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to recruit multiple positions simultaneously while maintaining high hiring standards.
