Position Overview:
The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in liaising with WCD and Education Departments, managing overall program operations, fostering stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the program's success within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with state and district officials to align program objectives, activities, and achievements.
- Support the realization of block, district, and state-level goals by leveraging organizational knowledge and technical skills.
- Work cohesively with vikramshila, donor and state government to align visions and plan collaborative programs, showcasing organizational expertise in early childhood development, early childhood education and foundational learning initiatives.
- Undertake liaison activities with all stakeholders involved in the implementation of early childhood development, early childhood education and foundational learning programs.
- Support the development of documents on early childhood care and education around Navchetna, Adharshila, the National Education Policy and National Curriculum Framework for foundational learning with concerned deparments.
- Participate in state and district-level committees, consortiums, workshops, and meetings, providing support as required.
- Prepare records, reports, and presentations on initiatives and implementation to contribute to state government development of policies, programs, and guidelines.
- Support documentation, including monitoring data, case studies, best practices, success stories, and evidence collation to share with governments.
- Support and assist the project team as needed in all districts of implementation.
- Advocate for and sensitize stakeholders through various platforms, sharing field learnings, challenges, best practices, and innovations.
- Conduct quality checks, monitoring, and evaluation of program activities, creating and presenting timely dashboards across key performance indicators.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Postgraduate degree in education, management, social science, economics, or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working with state systems and large-scale programs.
- Strong project management, people management, and budget management skills.
- Strong communication, research, documentation, and evaluation skills.
- Ability to develop resources, content, presentations, and advocacy materials through collaboration, research, and team coordination.
- Quick turnaround time and ability to work independently with steep deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset to work with partner agencies and state offices.
- Able to travel extensively.
- Proficiency in Assamese and English (written and spoken), Hindi (Spoken)
Compensation:
Remuneration for this role will be in the range of 6-7 LPA and will depend upon the candidate's qualifications and experience levels. The position will be based out of Bijoynagar (Near Guwahati), Assam.
