Job Title: Entrepreneurship Coordinator (Fisheries)
Job Profile:
Society for Direct Initiative for Social and Health Action (DISHA) is seeking a motivated and dynamic Entrepreneurship Coordinator to facilitate and strengthen livelihood and income-generation opportunities among Small-Scale Fisheries (SSF) communities. The position will focus on result-oriented promotion of small-scale fish worker community based collective enterprises along the value chain, exploring and utilising training, production and trade opportunities, facilitating access to government schemes and services and building partnerships with related departments and organizations.
Job description: The basic outlines are as indicated above. It will involve extensive fieldwork.
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3-years’ experience in livelihood promotion, entrepreneurship development (preferably in fisheries), rural development, fisheries, community development or related sectors.
• Experience in working with government schemes, convergence programmes, and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
• Strong understanding of community-based development approaches.

Posting: In Kolkata;
Salary: Rs. 30,000 per month
