About Organisation: LEPRA Society is an organization working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India.
About the Project: Surgical Access & Management for Rehabilitation, Improvement of Disability & Dignity of Hydrocele-affected Individuals (SAMRIDDHI) project aims to reduce disability and improve the quality of life of 15,000 individuals affected by hydrocele in Samastipur, Bihar, through community-based identification, access to safe hydrocelectomy, rehabilitation, and strengthened health systems.
We seek a qualified M&E Officer, position based at Samastipur District, Bihar
The position is for immediate employment
Key Responsibilities:
• M&E Framework Development
• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks aligned with project objectives.
• Establish performance indicators and reporting mechanisms.
• Data Systems & Quality Assurance
• Manage electronic data systems and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through validation checks.
• Field Monitoring & Supervision
• Conduct field visits to oversee data collection processes.
• Provide technical support to field staff on monitoring tools and methodologies.
• Capacity Building
• Train project staff and community workers on data collection, entry, and reporting protocols.
• Strengthen team capacity in MIS and evaluation practices.
• Analysis & Reporting
• Compile, analyse, and interpret data to track project performance.
• Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and documentation of outcomes and lessons learned.
• Share findings with Project Officer, donors, and government stakeholders.
• Knowledge Management
• Document best practices, challenges, and success stories.
• Contribute to evidence-based decision-making and program improvement.
• Key Competencies
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Proficiency in MIS tools, databases, and electronic record systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities (Hindi & English).
• Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Public Health, Sociology, Statistics, or Project Management with relevant field experience.
• 3 years of working experience in monitoring, evaluation, or data management roles would be given preference.
