Job Description:
The MEL Manager will be responsible for supporting the Rural Livelihood Health & Nutrition Project across multiple states from the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
• Designing of project log frame including monitoring and reporting indicators of health-based projects with support from Programme Manager
• Developing project monitoring and reporting tools at different levels to measure project progress
• Monitoring the core and performance indicators of the project on regular basis and report back to Senior Management team
• Ensure quality in data collection and analysis process for conducting baseline, end line or midterm reviews
• Undertake regular field visits to assess the systems and verify data as well as support field staffs in project implementation
• Support and capacitate project staff on MIS & documentation and other technical components as required
• Conduct periodic reviews with project team to ensure data quality and uniformity of data across locations and identify critical gaps for future strateging of interventions
• Prepare detailed reports, publications and presentation based on implementation data and findings
• Timely compilation, analysis and submission of MIS report
• Ensure publication of findings from research/ implementation/ policy briefs in peer reviewed journals of national and international repute
• Respond to requests from donor, organization & Govt. for additional information/ data
• Any other need-based work as specified by the organization

Educational Qualification & Experience:
• Post Graduate or higher qualification in Biostatistics/ Statistics/ Epidemiology/ Demography/ Economics/ Public health/ Social sciences.
• Publications in reputed peer reviewed journals on Public Health Issues will be added advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as M&E /documentation position holder, preferably in Maternal and Child Health Issues.
Desired Competencies:
• Excellent communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Bengali and Hindi is desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Power point along with SPSS, Stata, R or any other statistical package.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Travel Requirement:
The selected candidate will be expected to travel as per organizational requirements.
