About the Organization
Sabka Ghar Ashram is a social welfare initiative of Deep Vidya Mandir Samiti (DVMS), working towards dignity, care, inclusion and support for vulnerable and marginalized individuals, including children, women, elderly persons and Divyangjan.
Job Purpose
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening the organization's social media presence and website, communicating its social impact, documenting activities, engaging with supporters and helping increase public awareness, outreach and fundraising opportunities through digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Manage and regularly update the organization's Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts.
Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
Create engaging posts, captions, posters, reels, short videos and other digital content.
Cover and document important Ashram activities, events, celebrations, awareness programs and community initiatives through photographs and videos.
Share impact stories, beneficiary activities and organizational achievements while maintaining privacy, dignity and consent.
Prepare content for NGO programs, campaigns, fundraising initiatives and important days.
Monitor comments, messages and audience engagement and respond appropriately.
Increase the organization's online visibility and engagement through consistent and meaningful content.

Website Management
Manage and regularly update the official Sabka Ghar Ashram/DVMS website.
Upload and update news, events, activities, photographs, videos, reports and impact stories.
Update website pages and content whenever required.
Ensure that important announcements, campaigns, programs and organizational information are reflected on the website.
Coordinate with the technical/web team for website-related issues and updates.
Monitor basic website content, links and page functionality.
Support promotion of the organization's online donation page and fundraising campaigns through the website and social media.

Content & Documentation
Coordinate with the field/program team to collect photographs, videos, beneficiary stories, activity reports and other relevant information.
Maintain an organized digital archive of photographs, videos, creatives and social media content.
Create professional and engaging visual and written content for digital communication.
Ensure all published content is accurate, respectful and aligned with the organization's values.

Digital Outreach & Reporting
Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for NGO awareness and outreach.
Track social media performance and prepare monthly reach, engagement and growth reports.
Monitor website traffic and basic website performance where required.
Support online fundraising and donor communication campaigns.
Promote the organization's programs, website, donation page, campaigns and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate degree in any discipline; qualification in Mass Communication, Journalism, Social Work, Digital Marketing or related fields will be an advantage.
1-3 years of experience in social media management, digital communication, NGO communication or content creation preferred.
