About BSS

Bundelkhand Sewa Sansthan (BSS) is a registered voluntary organization working in the Bundelkhand region on education, water conservation, livelihoods, agriculture, women empowerment, child protection and community development.

Job Responsibilities

The Accountant /Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounts and financial records of the organization and projects. Key responsibilities include maintaining Cash Book, Ledger and Bank Book; bank reconciliation; checking bills, vouchers and supporting documents; project-wise expenditure tracking; assisting in budget monitoring and financial reporting; preparing documents for audit and donor reporting; and supporting statutory compliances such as TDS and Income Tax, as applicable.

Qualifications & Skills
B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification.
3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Good knowledge of Tally Prime/Accounting Software and MS Excel.
Knowledge of NGO accounting, donor reporting and audit documentation will be an advantage.
Good organizational and documentation skills.
