Talash Society for Inner Strength, Peace & Equality is a non-profit organisation working with adolescents, young people, schools and communities to advance gender justice, safety and wellbeing of young people.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and committed Accounts Officer to strengthen our finance systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Ensure statutory, donor and regulatory compliance, including FCRA and audit requirements.
• Prepare timely financial reports for management, Board and donors.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, systems and policies.
• Oversee accounting operations, audits and financial record management.
• Coordinate finance operations, strengthen financial systems and processes and provide financial analysis to support organisational decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience in an NGO/non-profit organisation (mandatory).
• Experience beyond routine accounting, with responsibility for budgeting, financial planning, donor and statutory compliance, reporting, audits and internal controls.
• Knowledge of FCRA and donor-funded projects (mandatory).

Desired Competencies
• Strong financial management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, compliance and financial systems.
• High integrity, attention to detail and accountability.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel and financial software.
• Strong communication, planning and team management skills.

Salary: 35,000–38,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
