Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Graduate/post-graduation degree in human studies or statistics with three years of experience in M&E domain preferably from the community (PLHIV/KP); working experience and knowledge required on analytical and data collection and processing software packages (like Access, Power BI, and SPSS); excellent written and verbal communication in English and the regional language; and Willingness to travel extensively are eligible.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• The M&E Officer will report to the State Project Manager whose responsibilities are
• Implement program MIS and M&E systems for prisons and manage day-to-day data management and reporting
• Ensure implementation of M&E systems across the state and conduct frequent data quality audits at the district level/desk.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to prison coordinators on data management and quality.
• Coordinate with DAPCU/ SACS - M&E / other officials for reconciliation of data in SOCH and for collecting the data on a timely basis for reporting.
• Conduct regular technical assistance visits to the prison and provide technical support to the medical staff of the prison to improve the reporting and quality of data.
• Coordinate with M&E officers of DAPCUs and SACS and Viral Hep dept, TB dept for smooth implementation, timely reporting of facilities in SOCH, and program sustenance.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, finalize them with the state project manager, and share them with the senior manager.
• Prepare and submit reports periodically to SACS and funding agencies on time and as proposed or requested.
• Manage documentation related to M&E activities reports, including regular periodic progress reports, meeting reports, RDQA / field visit reports, etc.

Additional Note:

Travel Requirement: The position involves regular travel across the GF HIV Project intervention districts in Karnataka.

Salary: Up to Rs 40,000 per month (fixed). The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's current and previous salary, relevant experience, and organizational policy.
