About the Organization
Mahan Seva Sansthan (MSS) is a voluntary organization working in the tribal and rural areas of southern Rajasthan for over three decades. The organization focuses on strengthening education, health, sustainable livelihoods, natural resource management, and community development, particularly for women, children, and smallholder farmers.
MSS is implementing an Integrated Rural Development Project aimed at improving education, health, water resource management, and livelihood opportunities for rural communities, especially women and farmers.
To support the implementation of this project, MSS invites applications for the following positions.

1. Field Facilitator – Water Resource Management
Qualification: B.Tech in Agriculture / Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years
Key Responsibilities
• Support planning, design, and execution of Soil and Water Conservation (SWC) activities.
• Provide technical guidance for field implementation of water-related structures.
• Monitor field activities and ensure quality work and timely completion.
• Coordinate with community members and local stakeholders during implementation.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of project activities.
Requirements
• Comfortable working extensively in field locations.
• Strong understanding of designing and execution of water conservation structures.
• Ability to ensure timeline-based completion of activities.
• Must have own bike

2. Field Facilitator – Livelihood
Qualification: M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Agriculture
Experience: Minimum 4–5 years
Key Responsibilities
• Promote sustainable agriculture and farmer livelihoods in project villages.
• Support activities related to water use efficiency, crop diversification, and improved agricultural practices.
• Work closely with farmers to strengthen livelihood opportunities.
• Ensure proper field-level planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely completion of project tasks.
Requirements
• Strong field-level knowledge of agriculture practices.
• Comfortable working in rural communities.
• Must have own bike.

3. Field Facilitator – Community Development
Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, or relevant field
Experience: Minimum 3–4 years in community-based programmes
Key Responsibilities
• Work with communities on education, health, and community development initiatives.
• Strengthen coordination with line departments at the block level for convergence of government schemes.
• Facilitate community meetings and mobilize families, women, and youth.
• Focus on issues related to children, women, and family well-being.
• Support documentation and reporting of field activities.
Requirements
• Candidate must be willing to stay and work in field areas.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic English and computer knowledge required.

Additional Information
• Positions will be based at block and panchayat headquarters in Udaipur and Salumber districts of southern Rajasthan.
• The project focuses on strengthening education and health for women and children and improving farmers’ livelihoods through integrated rural development approaches.
