Fundraising, Business Development & CSR Grants Manager

About the role
We are looking for a driven and strategic professional to lead our fundraising, business development, and CSR grants-raising function. This is a high-impact role responsible for building sustainable revenue pipelines through institutional donors, corporate-NGO partnerships, and government/CSR funding mechanisms.
Key responsibilities:
You will identify, pursue, and close funding opportunities from CSR foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies, HNIs, and impact investors. You will develop and maintain a robust grants calendar, track deadlines, and ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with corporate CSR heads, programme officers, and decision-makers will be central to the role. You will also lead the development of compelling concept notes, pitch decks, and grant applications aligned with funder priorities. Internally, you will work closely with programme and finance teams to develop budgets, ensure compliance, and prepare donor reports and impact narratives.
What we're looking for :
5–8 years of experience in fundraising, BD, or grants management within the development sector in India
Proven track record of securing CSR grants and institutional funding (Schedule VII alignment experience preferred)
Strong understanding of India's CSR landscape, Companies Act 2013 provisions, and key funding ecosystems (GIZ, USAID, Tata Trusts, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; regional language proficiency is a plus
Ability to manage multiple proposals and stakeholders simultaneously under tight deadlines
Proficiency in CRM tools and grant management platforms
Education :
MBA/MSW from a reputed University/Institute in India
Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Socialogy, Water Management, Engineering, etc.
