Our mission is to promote sustainable agriculture and organic farming practices through the implementation of the Participatory Guarantee System (PGS-India Certification).
 
Qmark is established to help and facilitate the farming & trading communities to make them compatible with the Organic farming standards. The promoters of the Organization are from Agriculture background and carrying an experience of more than 15 years in Organic industries.
 
2. Position: Assistant Manager – Finance
 
3. Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
 
4. Job Description: Assistant Manager - Finance are responsible for achieving the goals and objectives of the organisation through managing its financial resources including field operations. Managerial duties include, but are not limited to leading the accounts team, setting objectives, analyzing profits, making investment decisions, and timely review of the company funds.
 
5. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, up-to-date budget information for each program area and general operations to inform decision making authorities.
  • To assist Chief Executive officer in preparation & planning of yearly budget.
  • Receive requests for logistics from Chief Executive Officer and compare with budgetary allocations.
  • Prepare vouchers and cheques for the release of funds and maintain proper accounting system in Tally package.
  • Ensure maximum compliance of tax laws, especially with withholding taxes for all invoices. 
  • To provide guidance to accounts team in filling payment vouchers and receipts and keep soft copies of all payments and receipts in hard and soft copies.
  • Necessary follow-ups with office/field staff to carry out timely settlements of advances. 
  • Overall responsible to conduct annual financial audits and assist charted accountant
  • Prepare and administer monthly salary payments/payroll.
  • Developing and maintaining necessary accounting polices & systems and building an accounts department for the growth of the company. 
  • Coordinating corporate tax reporting and preparation of tax returns, ensure annual tax reports are completed and submitted to local authorities in a timely manner, lead payments of Tax Deduction at Source (TDS), Goods & Services Tax (GST) to respective institutions.
  • Develop and explain the formats of settlements of bills/advances for company staff.
  • Overall responsible for timely submission of invoices to clients.   
  • To assist in preparation of Bank Guaranties/Bonds/FDR’s and keep serious track of its renewal/repayments.
  • Timely submission of financial progress reports to funding agencies.
  • Any other work assigned during the course of your service period by the Management.
6. Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce/ MBA finance with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliances.
  • Good knowledge in presenting reports and database management systems with generating analytical reports from databases.
  • Strong writing skills in English and knowledge of cost accounting, standards, and documentation.
  • Candidates having work experience in FCRA regulations will be preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Good command in speaking, reading and writing skills in English
  • Proficient skills and experience in working on MS office.
  • Proficiency in regional languages will be the added advantage.

8. Compensation Offered:
The remuneration package is budgeted for a range of INR 35,000 to 50,000 per month. Qmark have a policy of reimbursing all the expanses related to field travel. The offer made to the selected candidate shall commensurate with qualifications, experience and previous salary of the candidate.
 
9. Age Limit: Maximum up to 38 years
