About Rangeen Khidki Foundation

Rangeen Khidki Foundation is a youth led organization based in West Bengal that works with adolescents and young people on gender equality and sexual and reproductive health and rights through comprehensive sexuality education. Our programs work across schools and communities to build awareness, leadership and agency among adolescents so they can make informed choices about their bodies, relationships and futures.

Our Gender, Leadership and Masculinity program works specifically with adolescent boys to build critical and empathetic thinking about gender, power and masculinity. The program encourages boys to question patriarchal and gender unequal practices in their everyday lives and supports them in building values of safety, respect and dignity for all.

We are currently looking to hire a Cis Male Facilitator / Project Lead to implement this program in schools and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach with schools and communities to introduce and build partnerships for the program
• Mobilize and form groups of adolescent boys aged 13 to 17 years in schools and community spaces
• Facilitate sessions using the Gender, Leadership and Masculinity curriculum developed by the organization
• Create safe, engaging and participatory learning spaces for adolescent boys
• Build relationships with teachers, school authorities, parents and community stakeholders
• Maintain documentation of sessions, attendance and field notes
• Support monitoring and evaluation of each session and the overall program

Skills and Experience

• Understanding of feminist perspectives on gender equality and masculinities
• Prior experience working with adolescent boys or young people in community or school settings
• Ability to take ownership and confidently lead this initiative
• Demonstrated experience in community engagement, school outreach and documentation
• Experience facilitating interactive, joyful and informative sessions with adolescents
• Strong communication skills in Bengali and working knowledge of English

Eligibility

• Cis male candidates only
• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Age under 30 years
• Based in Kolkata
• Willingness to travel regularly to schools and community locations
