About Us
We are a not-for-profit organization working to improve English skills in vernacular-medium government school classrooms across India. Our English programs improve children’s reading, writing, comprehension and conversational skills through bilingual, colourful textbooks and bilingual interactive audio and video clips, and a curriculum filled with songs and games. Our programs are easy to use, effective, empowering, and enjoyable, inspiring children to love to learn even as they learn to learn. We began implementing our programs in 2013 and are currently working across five states — Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Gujarat. To date, we have trained 31,000 teachers and reached over 7 lakh students.
What This Role Is About
As a Field Coordinator, you’ll ensure that our English programs run smoothly across 70–80 government schools in Nashik. You’ll work closely with school leaders and education officials, support teachers, and make sure dayto-day program operations are carried out effectively.
What You’ll Do
• Work with education officials / school principals to get approvals and coordinate program activities.
• Visit schools regularly to observe classes and give supportive feedback.
• Conduct baseline and endline assessments, evaluate student test results, manage data entry.
• Document weekly progress, challenges, and insights for internal reporting.
• Manage program materials and track distribution to each school.
• Help organize teacher training sessions (online/offline) and keep training records updated.
• Provide on-going mentoring support to teachers during school visits.
• Handle basic accounts, expenses, and maintain operational documents.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure the program runs efficiently.
Who We’re Looking For
• A graduate (any discipline; Education background preferred)
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Someone who’s good at coordination, communication, and building relationships
• Experience supporting or conducting teacher training is a plus
• Comfortable using MS Office and digital documentation tools
• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks
• 2–3 years of relevant experience (NGO experience preferred)
• Must have access to a two-wheeler, possess a valid driving license, and be comfortable riding regularly, as the role involves frequent travel across Nashik for school visits and program coordination activities.
• Comfortable with travel across Nashik as required.
