Position: State Lead - Bihar (1 Position)

MOHAN Foundation is seeking three passionate and mission-driven State Leads to lead the deceased organ donation movement in West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.

This is more than a job--it is an opportunity to transform healthcare systems, inspire communities, and help save the lives of patients waiting for a second chance through organ transplantation.

As State Lead, you will serve as the driving force behind the development and expansion of deceased organ donation programs in your state, working closely with government, hospitals, healthcare professionals, media, and civil society to create lasting systemic change.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute state-wide strategies to strengthen deceased organ donation programs

Build strategic partnerships with State Government, hospitals, doctors, transplant teams, and healthcare institutions

Mobilize communities and stakeholders to foster awareness and support for organ donation

Engage NGOs, medical associations, media, and civil society to increase donation rates and advocacy

Oversee implementation of training, advocacy, hospital engagement, and program operations

Develop and drive state-specific growth plans with measurable impact

Candidate Profile
Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in public health, healthcare, social impact, or allied sectors

Education: Background in public health, social work, healthcare administration, or related fields

Leadership: Proven ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive change

Skills: Excellent communication, networking, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Experience: Working with government systems and multi-stakeholder public health programs

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned state

Preferred: Candidates with a personal connection to the cause of organ donation/transplantation will be viewed favorably
