Reports To: Program leader (Residential programs)
Location: Sakhi Niwas, Goregaon West, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Role Type: Program Coordinator (Residential)
Employment Status: Full-Time Permanent, Residential
Role Purpose
To manage the day-to-day operations of Sakhi Niwas hostel, ensuring a safe, secure, and dignified living environment for working women residents, while maintaining financial sustainability of the hostel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage hostel admissions, resident onboarding, and exit processes
• Ensure security, safety, and discipline within the hostel premises
• Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and facility upkeep
• Maintain resident register, room allocation, and billing records
• Collect monthly fees and coordinate with Accounts Executive at HO
• Resolve resident grievances promptly and escalate when required
• Manage hostel staff — housekeeping, security, admin support, repairs and maintenance work
• Liaise with BMC authorities, building management, local authorities as required
• Represent organisation to visitors/guests/donors at program location and raise funds
• Prepare monthly hostel operations report for organisation
And any other duty as per time to time requirement of program/organisation
Key Result Area (KRA): Key Performance Indicator (KPI):
Resident Safety: Zero security incidents; all safety protocols followed; log maintained daily
Occupancy & Revenue: Occupancy rate greater than or equal to 90%; fee collection rate greater than or equal to 95% each month
Resident Satisfaction: Annual satisfaction survey conducted; grievance resolved within 48 hours
Facility Standards: Monthly cleanliness inspection passed; maintenance issues resolved within 7 days
Essential Skills:
• Attention to problem solving and team coordination
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Orientation for systematic documentation and reporting
Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and data related to program and organisation
Required qualification:
MSW with 2-3 years of on field experience in NGO/non-profit organisation
Compensation: Rs. 18k-22k per month
