About Shield Foundation

Shield Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of marginalized communities through skill development, education, healthcare awareness, women empowerment, and livelihood initiatives. We are looking for passionate Social Workers who can engage with communities and support the successful implementation of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Mobilization
Conduct field visits and community outreach activities.
Identify and mobilize beneficiaries for various programs and training initiatives.
Build rapport with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders.
Organize awareness sessions, meetings, and community events.
Case Management & Beneficiary Support
Assess the needs of beneficiaries and provide appropriate guidance and support.
Maintain regular follow-up with beneficiaries and their families.
Facilitate access to government schemes and social welfare services where applicable.
Program Implementation
Assist in planning and executing community development projects.
Ensure smooth implementation of training, health, and livelihood programs.
Coordinate with trainers, field staff, volunteers, and partner organizations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate beneficiary records and program documentation.
Prepare field reports, case studies, success stories, and monthly progress reports.
Collect and manage data required for project monitoring and evaluation.
Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and CSR partners.
Represent the organization at community meetings and external events when required.
Desired Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
Good documentation and report-writing skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email).
Ability to travel within Mumbai for field activities.
Problem-solving and counseling skills will be an added advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW).
Freshers with relevant internships or fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with experience in community development, NGO projects, skill development, health, or education programs will be preferred.
