Position: District Coordinator – Documentation, Research & Knowledge
Location: Kangra, Himachal Pradesh

A community-based mental health and resilience project working across 200 villages and 4,000 households in Kangra and Chamba. The project strengthens mental wellbeing, builds community resilience, and embeds mental health practices into local health systems and governance structures.

What we need this person to do
•Write monthly, quarterly, and annual donor reports
•Document case studies, community stories, and programme learnings from the field
•Develop training manuals, facilitation guides, and community information materials
•Write articles, policy briefs, and newsletters for external audiences
•Conduct field research — interviews, observations, focus groups — and translate findings into written outputs
•Support monitoring and data collection using the Mental Wellbeing Impact Assessment framework
•Do regular field visits across Kangra to gather material for documentation

Who we are looking for
•Master's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Journalism, Development Studies or related field
•2 years of experience in documentation, report writing or research in the development sector
•Excellent writing skills for reports and donor communication
•Experience working with rural communities
•Someone who has already written something they are proud of — and can show us
